I heard about a month ago that Stush was coming to Windsor, I thought it was a rumour, it was the biggest thing since the Castle nearly burnt down every one was talking about it. It was true the event Stush, location Mirage nightclub, date Saturday 13th February.

I contemplated whether to go or not, I am no stranger to mirage t be honest I go there every weekend and have been getting a little bored of the place. I also had this vision in my head that it would be full of 18 year olds all dressed in their matching Moshinos outfits giving off a negative attitude.

However despite my reservations I decided to go, I tried to get tickets but they were all sold out, I was told that there would be a limited number on the door and advised to get there early to avoid disappointment.

My self and my friends decided to go out for a quick drink before going however having driven past the place Mirage we could not believe the size of the queue the funny thing was that it was only 9:30pm. We decided to scrap the pre- drink idea and to quickly get into the queue.

It wasn't until I was in the queue that it actually hit me how popular Stush was. I got chatting to a few people and found out that they had travelled for miles to get there, one group of guys I was talking to had come all the way from Manchester. After about 45 minutes queuing we were all very cold and had smoked nearly all of our evening supply of fags. We eventually entered the reception where each of us parted with £20!!!! I prayed that I would get my monies worth.

I couldn't believe how busy the foyer was there were people every where. As I proceed into the queue to get searched I noticed that extra security had been drafted in for the night. After a stringent search I walked up to the first floor, on the way I read the itinerary for the night. The line up was superb, Ramsey and Fen, Mike "ruff cut" Lloyd, Jason Kaye the Dreem Teem, DJ Oaksie and two other up and coming DJ's.

Having just spent 1 hour in the queue there was no way I was going to queue up for another hour in for cloakroom, we decided to get a drink and try again later. As we entered the main room I could not believe how many people there were and it was not even 11:00.

Coming from Windsor every one another it is really a close knit community, and when you go out you can guarantee that you know most people which is what it is usually like at Mirage, however I felt like a stranger in my own club. To be honest it did not feel like mirage at all. It even looked different probably as they had decorated the club for this event.

After getting my drink I went for a wonder, there was a good atmosphere in the air every one was dressed up in their best garms. I also could not believe how many nice women there were, a sight quite rare in Windsor.

Suddenly I heard a beautiful piano breakdown in the track that was playing I feel my heart racing suddenly the tune built up to and this superb melody accompanied by vocals kicked in, I lost it and flew straight into a dancing fit. I must say I pulled of some pretty complex and impressive manoeuvres.

At about 12:00 the place was buzzing, everyone was having a great time and to my astonishment there was a very good friendly atmosphere.Mike "ruff cut" Lloyd began his set he dropped in "Love Lady" by Damages, everyone started screaming then suddenly CKP started Mcing everyone started screaming even louder, it was brilliant it made you feel proud to be a member to the Underground scene.

Just when things couldn't get any better they did, the stage curtains opened beautiful girls on platforms started dancing, then it got better again this man in a full robots suit appeared on the stage and started a routine of superb robotic and energetic dancing. It was fucking brilliant (excuse my French).

I decided to go for another wonder after an hour of continuous dancing, I strolled down stairs into the middle room. I was very pleased as I had caught Nicky Blackmarkets set, this room which is usually the garage room was turned into a haven for old skool ravers. I stood and chilled out on the balcony heard all my favourite records from 92 and 93 it was brilliant. My head immediately filled with the memories that I had of the time when I my mates and I were into the Hardcore scene.

By the way this room was rammed as well. I then progressed down to the third room, which London's own Ice Fm was hosting. This room was the chill out room people were just sitting, relaxing enjoying the London's sounds.

After chilling out for 1/2 hour, I went back up stairs to have it again...............people were still queuing for the Cloakroom!!!!! The place was buzzing then suddenly the Mc shouted could every one please evacuate the building as the fire alarms were going of. No one wanted to move, after about 1/2 hour the streets were crowded with people.

I thought I was at the Notting hill Carnival. Although most peoples jackets were in the cloakrooms, the street was packed with a good couple of thousand freezing clubbers or should I say annoyed freezing clubers.

The fire brigade eventually gave the all clear and it was like being at a football match the cheers that could be heard were amazing.

Once again the music pumped out and everyone continued to enjoy themselves, although it took a good hour for the atmosphere to build up to what it was before the disturbance.

As Jason Kaye and Mc Blakey rocked the place the girls and the robot continued to dance on the stage, once again the place was jumping!!!!!

The Dreem Teems Mikey B and Spoony played the last set I was determined to hear them so stayed right to the end. I have never seen the place so busy at 6:00 usually it is empty, but not this time Stush had made a big impression the place was the busiest I have ever seen it!!!!!!!!!!

The Stush crews have done it again another successful event. (cheers) The DJ's and Mc's were brilliant, Superb, amazing etc. etc. I do think that the whole of the Mirage team should be praised everyone from the Management and security to the cloakroom ladies.

Well done to Bob and the rest of the crew at Mirage for making this the best night I have had at Mirage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
