  • The Guild shall be called the United Reformed Church Musicians' Guild (formerly the United Reformed Church Guild of Organists and Choirmasters) and shall be affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music.

  • Membership by annual subscriptions shall be available to all interested in Church Music, including organists, instrumentalists, ministers, choir leaders and choir members.

  • The Annual General Meeting of the Guild shall appoint a Central Administrative Committee consisting of officers and six other members. The officers shall be the Chairman, General Secretary, General Treasurer, Guild Review Editor, Guild Review Distributor, Guild Chaplain and any other officers who may, from time to time, be appointed and approved. The officers shall remain in office subject to re-election annually. The six other members of the Committee shall each serve for three years, two retiring each year by rotation. On retiring after a second term a Committee member, other than an Officer, shall not be eligible for re-election for one year.

  • The Committee shall have the power to co-opt not more than three other members for a year at a time.

  • Officers and other members of the Committee shall normally be members of, or currently attached to, a congregation of the United Reformed Church.

  • The Committee shall be responsible for policy, administration and the publication of the Guild Review.

  • Branches of the Guild may be formed according to the needs of local members. Each Branch shall elect its own committee and shall be eligible to receive financial support from Central funds. Each Branch shall hold, in centres of its own choice, at least one meeting a year, but preferably three meetings.
