A shining beacon on the front cover of the slightly dubious 'GAS' comic magazine in the late eighties, Roy emerged fully formed as the archetypal maverick sporting sublapsarian.
Just the two colours, then. But he did demonstrate a wholeness, harmony and a certain radiance within his few allotted frames of reference. Always ending with a roar of approval (or disapproval) from the proletarian masses in the terraces and a sultry "So long, pards..."
