Borin Van Loon: Oil paint and sensuality

A piece betraying my surrealist roots (actually most of my pieces do that if you look closely enough). Intimate or nightmarish: reading round this fleshy confection, leads you to only one conclusion. It has only one head. The fingertips melting into the flank is an allusion to Salvador Dali's Autumn Cannibalism which I saw as an impressionable teenager in London's Tate Gallery. (It's power has never waned, despite the decidedly weaker paintings of Dali's later career.) In my daydreams I imagine this work executed as a huge wall-painting on the side of a metropolitan building.
